What’s the end of Mahi’s Way?
However, the latest reports suggest that, the lead actress Pushtiie will be transformed by the end of the show into an average sized girl.
According to our source, "The show Mahi Way is a sort of autobiography of its writer Devika Bhagat. She weighed ninety kilograms in her early teens and worked on losing it once she turned eighteen. So Mahi will be shown unaffected by people's comments about her flab for the initial phase. But there will be a point where she will on her own decide to get rid of her unhealthy diet and lazy attitude."
The source adds, "The show will give a deja vu of one of Sony's older shows Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi, in which the geeky girl turns gorgeous and has a happy ending with her prince charming."
We spoke to the writer Devika Bhagat who says, "Yes it's true that I once weighted 90 kilos. Once I turned eighteen, the realization hit me that you can't continue to be fat. When I was fat, I used humor as a defense mechanism and that made me the typical 'funny fat girl'. What I didn't realize was that it also put me across as stupid and boring. No one took me seriously. So eventually I decided to change for the better!"
Devika adds, "The show is very close to me as it is in a way my memoir. Many incidents shown in Mahi way have happened in my real life."
So does that mean the character Mahi will follow suit and lose weight too, just in the way you have? To this Devika cheekily replies, "A very sneaky question, I have to say. But for that you'll have to watch the show."
Pushtiie aka Mahi apparently always knew in spite of her size she will be a lead actress one day. She says, "Yes, I always knew I'll be a lead actress. I felt it from inside." So did she put on weight for the role? "Nope. I've always been this way. In fact I lost some of my weight after I started working."
We wonder if this loss of weight continues until she becomes trim like writer Devika…
Khajan Singh trapped in jail in Balika Vadhu...
This track will be played for two weeks or so, and will unfold many big secrets.
According to our source, "It is very obvious that a guy like Khajan Singh will not do such a crime. He has been planted into all this mess by Mahavir Singh (Rajendra Gupta). Initially, nobody is aware of this, but as the track unfolds Bhairav (Anoop Soni) will get to know of this".
With Khajan Singh in jail, Bhagwati (Bhairavi Raichura) will be lonely and will not find any support system to save her husband. "Actually, Bhairav and others in the family are stopped by Dadisa (Surekha Sikri) from helping Anandi's parents. Above all, Khajan is harassed by the police men in jail, and Bhagwati finds herself helpless. But when Bhairav gets to know that Mahavir Singh has trapped Anandi's father, he will go ahead in saving him from the clutches of law. An interesting court case sequence is also in the pipeline".
When contacted, Chaitanya Adib told us, "Yes, it is true that Khajan will be harassed in jail. There will be some emotional moments shown where he is suffering in jail and Bhagwati finds herself lonely. There is high voltage drama to come".

Abhinav Shukla's entry adds spice to Chhoti Bahu...
According to our source, "The main track will focus on Vishaka now, and the start to this has already been shown with the entry of model turned actor Abhinav Shukla. The guy plays Vishaka's love interest, and has come to Vrindavan looking for her".
Abhinav Shukla plays Vikram, a rich and smart guy from Mumbai. The buzz is that he is from the film industry, and Vishaka had got into a relationship with him when she had earlier been to Mumbai to seek a future as actor.
However, the entire track of Vikram and his identity has been kept a secret, as there is a big high point to come as the guy is somehow or the other related to the Purohit family. "Not much of a track has been developed as far as Vishaka-Vikram story goes, but there is a possibility that Vishaka will be shown pregnant with the guy's kid. The big twist will be when the main motive of this guy's entry will be revealed", adds our source.
When contacted, Priyanka Mishratold us, "I don't know much about his character. All that I know is that he plays Vikram, my love interest. But what surprises me is that he is also related to Purohit family in some way".
Abhinav Shukla who entered the show last Friday was also clueless about the manner in which his track will proceed. "I have been told that I have come from Mumbai to Vrindavan, and will have a track going with Vishaka. Other than this, I have not been told anything".
The buzz is that Abhinav's character might turn out to be negative as the story unfolds. "As of now, Vikram's character is neutral, he is neither positive nor negative", further states our source.
Well, loyal audience of Chhoti Bahu can look forward to one big drama now…

Rubina Dilaik hospitalized..
According to our source, "Rubina was at the sets shooting, when she got this pain in the abdomen, after which she could not continue with her shoot. She was immediately taken to Kokila Ben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, and has been put under observation and medication. The doctors have not been able to diagnose the problem yet, and will be conducting further tests, as her pain has not subsided still".
When contacted, Rubina who is in the hospital told us, "I used to get mild abdominal pain regularly, but it got too severe yesterday. I had to be hospitalized immediately, and am on medication now. My pain has still not subsided fully, and the doctors have not been able to diagnose the problem. They will be taking me for a CT Scan sometime today, which should detect the problem. My brother and bhabhi are with me, and my parents will be coming soon".
Well, Radhika and Dev (Avinash Sachdev) have just got united in the show, and this news surely comes as a dampener to the lavish honeymoon plans that the channel has been planning to shoot at Malaysia.
We pray for Rubina's speedy recovery…
Shocking death in Pavitra Rishta!
Our reliable source from the sets inform, “The character of Sachin (Manav’s brother) played by Raj Singh is soon going to be written off, with the sudden death of Sachin in an unfortunate accident. The shooting for the same is in progress.”
Elaborating on the scene, the source informs, “After coming back from jail, Manav’s (Sushant Rajput) family is being ridiculed by the society and they are all feeling ashamed. Because of this Shravani’s father also breaks off the relationship with Manav’s family and Sachin’s visa is cancelled.”
“Meanwhile, Sachin meets with an accident while crossing the road and dies,” the source concludes.
Well get ready to experience another horrifying twist in the show!
Karan Kundra bullies his co-stars
About his real life equation with co-stars Suman Das and Priyamvada Kant, Karan says, “I bully them a lot on the sets. Once, me and the director were getting bored as there was half an hour to left for the lighting to be done on the sets, so we planned to force them to say dialogues even when the camera was off and everyone started laughing as only they did not know. They both are very sweet and naïve”.
So, does he often do such tricks? “Yes, the other day we were shooting for a rain sequence in a 3000 square feet location but we just needed a 200 sq feet corner and useless lights and other stuff were dumped in other area. We made Suman and Priyamvada do their scenes in that messy area and they kept on asking as to why was the mess around? The crew told them not to get distracted and carry on with the scene and quite later they realised the trick” laughs Karan.
Karan is one big bully on the sets and poor Suman and Priyamvada are easy targets for this innocent looking actor.
Ragini cries for ‘Bhaskar Bharati’!
Now that she has lots of free time for a chit-chat she informs us, “Truly speaking, I felt very bad after my last shoot and the initial three days after the shoot were worst for me. I missed my co-actors and also missed shooting for the serial. The saddest thing is that the show telecast its last episode yesterday, and I just could not stop the tears rolling down my cheeks and I finally burst out crying like a small kid.”
“It was very gloomy to see the last episode. But after all, life has to go on and thus I have made up my mind to be seen more on TV for all the viewers out there who loved me and the show. I have some new things in hand about which I can reveal only in January but even I am eager to start new work. I will make sure that I come back with a bang,” promises Ragini.
Well Ragini, even the audience is waiting to see you in a new avatar.
COLORS back to all-fiction at prime time...
While Yeh Pyaar Na Hoga Kam, produced by Creative Eye will be the channel's first love story, Laagi Tujhse Lagan, produced by Playtime Creations is the story of a girl Nakusha from a lower caste who is forced to live her life with distorted beauty.
As Ashwini Yardi, Programming Head, COLORS puts it, "We have always wanted to produce shows that are a reflection of the society. We have also wanted to do a love story, and with Yeh Pyaar Na Hoga Kam, we bring to the audience a love story happening between an upper caste boy and lower caste girl. So as we see in the promo, we bring to notice the manner in which the society reacts, even when a love story is not even in its budding stage".
"We have got our two good looking leads in Gaurav Khanna and Yami Gautam. Gaurav has proved good for COLORS, as he was our lead in Jeevan Saathi too. He comes with his own baggage of fan following, he is a localite too hailing from Kanpur. He is also a fresh face who will grow as our story unfolds", adds Ashwini.
On the other show Laagi Tujhse Lagan, Ashwini Yardi tells us, "This is a very unique story of a girl Nakusha who lives in a slum area in Mumbai. This again has a social message to spread and talks about the life of the people who are forced to be content with very less in life. This again will unfold into a very nice refreshing love story".
Remind her that their earlier fiction slots Jeevan Saathi and Meri Ghar Aayi Ek Nanhi Pari at the same 9-10 PM slot did not do that well for the channel, and she gives us a very optimistic reply in, "Yes, it is true that those shows did not deliver as much as we expected. But the very fact that we are launching these shows after the successful run of two reality shows at the same time slot is a positive in itself. Also we are looking forward to gaining more viewership from the younger lot who witnessed the reality shows aired at this time".
Lastly, Ashwini Yardi informed us that, "The two shows will be launching on December 28th. Yeh Pyaar Na Hoga Kam will take the 9 PM slot while Laagi Tujhse Lagan will be at the 9.30 PM slot".
So we are back to all fiction at the prime time band on COLORS…
Yeh Rishta completes 250 episodes...
The unit organized a cake cutting ceremony with the protagonists Hina Khan (Akshara),Karan Mehra (Naitik) present. Also seen was the family of Naitik, but one noted absence was of Akshara's family.
We talked to Akshara aka Hina Khan who seemed the happiest amongst the entire lot present there. "I am very much excited as we have completed 250 episodes today. I would like to thank Rajan Shahi Sir who gave me this big a break. I still remember how nervous I was in my first shoot at Jaipur. But the whole cast and crew made me comfortable. I still go thro' my pictures taken during that first shot (smiles)".
Hina Khan further added that she is missing her Maayka family on this day, as it was with them that she began this journey.
Naitik aka Karan Mehra who appeared equally elated said, "I want to thank all my fans who have supported and loved me as Naitik. I feel happy that we have completed 250 episodes today, and look forward to achieving many more milestones like this".
We wish the entire team all the very best for their future tracks…
Laali-Shekhar marriage plans paused!
According to our source, "Earlier the channel and production house were to shoot this wedding sequence at the Pashupatinath Temple. But they later decided to shoot the same in some other temple in Nepal, as they did not get adequate permissions to shoot at the famous Pashupatinath. But now, it looks as though the entire team needs to retrace and shoot the same in our own Mumbai".
When contacted, Sukesh Motwani, Creative Head,Zee TV said, "As per our script requirement, Nepal is the place where we will want the wedding sequence to be shot. However, we are experiencing certain problems, with the strike and problems happening in Nepal. We are trying our level best to shoot the sequence there. As of now, no decision has been taken to get back to Mumbai to shoot the important scene in the show".
As per the script, Shekhar and Laali will get married amidst lot of chaos created by Ranvijay (Sachal Tyagi) to stop the marriage from happening. The channel had also planned for a very romantic consummation sequence between the protagonists after marriage, in Nepal.
It is now to be seen whether they are able to shoot the sequence in the locales of Nepal or not!!

Ulka Gupta's bridal woes..
The current track of the show features her character, Mannu, getting married to Gangadhar Rao, the King of Jhansi. Given that little Ulka is just about 12 and quite a tom boy, the demure act of a bride had her constantly squealing with laughter.
According to our source, "Each time Ulka had to perform a traditional shaadi ritual, she'd cover her face amidst giggles and run to a corner to hide herself right in the middle of each shot. Very evidently, the whole idea of portraying a marriage to a man twice her age was extremely embarrassing for this pre-teen. Moreover, her bridegroom - King Gangadhar of Jhansi (played by actor Samir Dharmadhikari)happens to be quite a hit with her class mates. Apparently, the girls have even suggested that Ulka marries him in real!".
And this is not the end of little Ulka's bridal woes ... she is reportedly quite upset that she is no longer going to shoot with the cast members that she has grown fond of in Bithur, as her character Mannu must now be shown starting life afresh in Jhansi post-marriage- with a completely new set of actors to act alongside.
So just like most Indian brides shed copious tears at the thought of separation from their maayka and worry about getting along fine with their sasural-wallahs, little Ulka is going to miss her older set of co-actors and is a little wary of befriending the new lot in Jhansi. Quite the dulhan, isn't she?
Raghav to be shot in Na Aana Is Desh Laado..
According to our source, "Raghav who is trying to find out the real culprit is injured by a gun shot".
The buzz is that there is a possibility of Raghav being eliminated from the show. However our source states, "Raghav is very much there in the show. It is true that he will be shot, but he will recuperate in quick time. We will also be focusing on the love life and marriage preparations of Raghav and Sia (Natasha Sharma). At the same time, the attacks on Ammaji will continue and will get bigger and bigger. A parallel track of Dheeraj-Jhumar love story will also be shown in the coming episodes".
We tried calling Aditya Redij and Natasha, but both were unavailable.

Choti Bahu’s splendid celebration
The lead actors made sure their dressing made them stand apart from the rest of the crowd. Effortlessly the duo charmed the entire crowd. When asked to explain her costume this is what Rubina Dilaik (Radhika) had to say, "Well, I'm wearing Indian slip-ons with sequins and a very heavy payal(anklets). Then there's the denim which is western. I've teamed it with a top, which is fusion of a choli and corset. And I've worn this elaborate ring with pearl-work, which needless to say is typically Indian."
Avinash Sachdev (Dev) enthusiastically described his costumes. He said, "I'm wearing a pajama and ganji. I've topped the ganji with blazer and a loose scarf in place of the usual tie."
Avinash and Rubina also expressed their joy over their show achieving this success. They owed to their viewers and fans without whose support it would not have been possible.
Jai Kalra, Aamir Ali, Ragini Khanna,Vivek Mushran,Baba Sehgal,Ranjeet,Jaya Bhattacharya, Vicky and Soniya Kapoor were also spotted at the party.
The festivities continued till the wee hours of morning.
1966 Air India Crash Victim Re - Born
Bhopal resident Swati Singh who had an unexplainable fear of heights and air travel was taken back to her past life by renowned Mumbai psychologist Dr. Trupti Jayin. The past life regression therapy done on Swati revealed some shocking facts. During her regression, Swati went back to the year 1966 and saw herself as Mr. D Singh an Indian Sailor.
She then saw herself boarding an Air India flight No 101 to New York in 1966 and was part of the 46 contingent of sailors. Suddenly while in mid-air somewhere in Geneva, there was smoke filled all over inside the aircraft leaving the co-passengers running helter-skelter only to realize their fate. The Air India flight comprising of 106 passengers and the 11 crew members crashed near the summit of Mont Blanc in the Alps, leaving all the 117 people dead. Swati also recollected the fact that she saw noted Indian personality, Dr Homi Jehangir Bhabha, in the same flight who was on his way to Vienna.
What left everyone shocked and astonished on the sets that the details given by Swati during her regression tallied with the exact factual details of this incident that took place in the year 1966.
Most of the passengers were Indian nationals, 46 of whom were sailors and Chairman of Indian Atomic Energy Commission Dr. Homi Jehangir Bhabha also died in the same air crash. Swati, who would tremor at the thought of travelling by air and panic during take-off and landing heaved a sigh of relief and felt positive post her regression. " I was a complete skeptic and did not believe in the theory of Past Life Regression. But whatever happened to me during my regression was beyond my wildest imagination. I was shocked at the outcome of it all. I now am a believer and know that there is something beyond this world." says Swati Singh.
There are also news reports who claimed, that Dr. Homi Jehangir Baba's death was not an accident but a sabotage planned by the CIA. The journey to her past life, done through a conscious meditative technique has left Swati Singh to believe in things that she could never ever comprehend.
So don't miss this exciting opening episode with some shocking revelations as Dr. Trupti Jayin takes Swati Singh back into her past life on Raaz Pichhle Janam Ka, on Monday, 7th December at 9.30pm only on Imagine.
Jasveer Kaur to play Monica Bedi on screen
“I’m doing two series on Zoom channel. One is based on Bollywood and Crime while the other one is also based on reality. It’s very interesting and I am enjoying this,” states Jasveer.
In ‘Bollywood and Crime’ she is paired opposite Kelly Dorjee (ex boyfriend of Lara Dutta). “This story is based on the underworld connection with the film industry. I will be essaying the role of Monica Bedi while Kelly will be portrayed as Abu Salem in the series,” she adds further.
“The other series is called ‘Punaah’, which also has an interesting story line which focuses on a man who doesn’t believe in God. There will be situations where he will soon realise what happens due to his disbelief in the almighty,” she says.
‘Punaah’ sees Ranvir Shorey paired opposite Jasveer. “The only reason for not taking dailies is that all the offers I was getting were for negative roles which I don’t want to do. Thus, this will be a good break for me,” concludes the actress.
Something is better than nothing is all we can say for Jasveer Kaur!

Sony’s shifting loyalties
Our close source informs, ” Sony is closing down some of its serials like ‘Bhaskar Bharati’, ‘Ladies Special’ and may be some more shows to adjust the time slot for new shows of Yash Raj banner which will go on air from 1st of January.”
One of the actor who does not want to be named quips,” We were very shaken when we heard about our show going off air. It was not even the case of dipping TRP’s as the show was getting good ratings due to which our producer was also planning to introduce one new entry to the show. But now we hear that may be because the channel is going to introduce few new shows of Yash Raj, our show is going to be off air soon to adjust the time slot.”
” As for our serial the producer is rewriting the script and a happy real ending is being planned which will also appeal to our dear audience,” adds the actor.

Laali and Shekhar tie the knot
“The show recently won four ITA awards and we are very happy for it. There are many more surprises in store for the viewers, so keep tuned in to it,” states Siddharth Tewary of Swastik Pictures.
A source from the channel has an interesting revelation for us, “Laali (Ratan Rajput) and Shekhar (Abhishek Rawat) are off to Nepal to get married. This is a huge twist in the story line and will be a shocker for our janta.”
“The reason for their marriage is to beget a waaris for the Thakur family. Yes, the duo will get intimate to fulfill the wish of Loha Thakur (Sudesh Berry). It is going to be a long sequence as they return back to thehaveli,” adds the source.
There was a buzz of Laali’s Ganesiya (Karan Mehra) returning back to her life. “Yes, that too shall happen soon, sometime in the early next year. The creative team is for now concentrating on the romance of Laali and Shekhar,” concludes the source.
