Actor Rajeev Khandelwal has been in news since his first flick 'Aamir' that got a critical acclaimation. After that though everyone knew that he has also been roped in for UTV Spotboy next 'Peter Gaya Kaam Se.'


Its known that the film was not getting its lead actress but finally they have got it. The lucky one being cast opposite Rajeev is Lekha Washington. She is the one who shot mainly as a host for IPL last year.



This will be her debut in Hindi cinema and before she has worked in few south films. In the movie she will deliver a role of a sassy NRI who returns back home.


Peter Gaya Kaam Se is directed by Britisher John Owen and the shooting is scheduled to start from 14th March in Goa.

Arjun Bijlani dislocates his shoulder..

Arjun Bijlani who plays Mayank in Star One's Miley Jab Hum Tum has dislocated his shoulder recently while he was shooting a fight scene for the show.

The actor was at the doctor's when we called him yesterday. "I was shooting a fight sequence when all of a sudden my shoulder snapped and came out of the socket. I was in terrible pain and could not even move my hand. But then, the cameraman somehow managed to push it back into the socket and I continued with the shoot. In fact, he had to push it back twice as it came out again after few minutes", quips Arjun.

The actor was so tired after the day's schedule that he could not see a doctor the same day. The next day he had to resume shoot as they were working cut-to-cut. "I packed up from shoot just now and I am waiting at the doctor's place. I have to get an MRI scan done tomorrow. It needs to be seen whether it is a muscle tear or something worse", explains the actor.

Arjun has got a break of three days in which he has to get better. "I will not be shooting for the next three days, and I hope to get better by then. But if there is any complication, I heard I might have to undergo physiotherapy for the next six months", says a worried Arjun.

In Miley Jab Hum Tum, the track is poised at a point wherein Mayank and Nupur (Rati Pandey) are slowly but steadily falling in love..

We hope Arjun is fit and fine soon, so that we can see more of Mayank-Nupur awesome chemistry on screen!!

Promos of Na Aana Is Desh Laado in trouble?

Few organizations had raised objections on the disturbing promos aired of the new COLORS' show on female infanticide, Na Aana Is Desh Laado.

The new show of COLORS channel, 'Na Aana Is Desh Laado' has just started yesterday and the show is already in controversy with its promo airing on the channel, wherein few organizations have raised questions on it.

As we know, the show focuses on female infanticide. The promo shows shocking scenes of a girl child being immersed in a big bowl of milk, with the hope that the same child would be reborn the next year as a boy. These scenes were really disturbing to the eyes. Hence few organizations had raised their voice against this to the channel.

We called up Shyamashis Bhattacharya of Shakuntalam Telefilms to know the truth, and he says, "There are no such controversies as far as I know. The promos portray the true picture and I know we need to present it in a lighter manner and we are planning for the same".

Will there be such scenes in the show too? "As I said the show talks about female infanticide and the fact is that such practices are still on in some places. There will be such scenes shown in the show, but not so horrifying that it hurts the sentiments of people. One needs to keep a continuity of the show to understand what message we want to pass on to the audience. All I can say is that Laado is a positive show", he adds.

However, as per our khabroo, "The channel did get calls raising questions on their promo, but now things are solved. Above all, as the show has launched there will be new promising promos shown of the show".

For the uninitiated, the other COLORS' show Uttaran too faced problems during its launch, and that was to do with the title of the show, which got cleared just weeks back.

We could not get any official comment on this from the channel though..

Whatever it is, even though the promos were bit disturbing, it seems as though it has caught the eye of the viewers. Now let's wait and see what verdict is passed by audience on the show!!

Grihasthi is going off air.

The popular show on Star Plus, Grihasthi is coming to an end. The show is getting off air on the 27th of March, 2009.

The creative head of Sphere Origins informs us, “The show is coming to an end on the 27th of this month. I personally went on the sets to break this news to everybody and trust me it was not easy to look into everyone’s eyes and say such a thing. The entire cast and crew was shocked and many had tears in their eyes too”.

We spoke to the artists of this much popular show and they too expressed their grief on the same.

Anand Suryavanshi, a main lead of the show was taken aback with the news, “This came like a shock to me. The mere thought of not being together after spending so much time with each other makes you drained. I will really miss this show and each and every one who is responsible and attached with this show”.

The other cast and crew were also no less when it came to depicting their unhappiness and emotional trauma of the show’s unfortunate end.

Shaleen, the winner of Nach Baliye 4 speaks his heart out to us, “If you tend to spend so many hours on the sets, naturally you bound by a unique force called friendship. We all are friends out here and the Grihasthi sets had become our second home. It was certainly the best time I ever had. I was so emotionally attached to everyone out here. When I was in Nach Baliye, I used to go back and ask people on the sets about my performance and stuffs. Everyone there would give me suggestions and tips and I used to follow it. I think there were innumerous people accountable for me winning Nach Baliye 4”.

Chavvi Mittal, who was a bit earlier informed that the show was going off air, was somewhat prepared but still doesn’t failed to express the amount of fun, frolic and peace this set had given her.

“The set was a family to us. People gave me a lot of suggestions and I always used to listen to them and keep that in mind. It was much of a picnic kind of environment where people were always in a mood of masti and stuffs. We played hard and worked harder. That was the spirit on the sets. All these things were emotionally attached to me. Still I did not cry; as I usually don’t get tears in my eyes. I guess the saying that, “If something ends, something good is waiting for you”, surely goes the way.

Karan Wahi's new show "Mere Ghar Aayi Ek Nanhi Pari"

Karan Wahi who had first blasted on the TV screen as Ranveer in Star One’s youth cult show Remix is keeping his fingers crossed. For this dude’s long absence from the idiot box will end next week with the launch of Colour’s new show, Mere Ghar Aayi Ek Nanhi Pari. However he is not cent sure of his presence as the contract is yet to be signed “There are still some issues which need to be ironed out.” he says.

This DJ’ s Creative Unit show was first supposed to air on 9x, but because of problems with the latter channel, it was shifted to Colours. Karan says “Everything happens for the good as Colour assures us better ratings. The show is based on the concept of the importance of the girl child. Our theme is quite contemporary in the sense that many people these days want a female child, times are changing”.

Talking about his character, who’s name is yet to be confirmed, Karan says “He is a today’s guy who falls in love with the lead girl called Kusum . How our relationship goes on is the crux of the story. She being a only girl in the family is heavily protected by her relatives. And the best part is that there is big difference in our respective value systems". He goes on, “My character will make an appearance within the next 2/3 weeks. This delay is because the show begins with the Kusum being born. She will soon grow up . Its good that I did not make appearance then as I would have been charged with child molestation”, he jokes .

He further does not have much information about the change of the lead actress. The character of Kusum was first supposed to be essayed by Menka Lalwani, but now is being played by Mugdha Chapekar. “I have no clue as to the reason for this change, kindly ask the producer . Infact I had no idea about it till I went for the promo shoot.I had shot large portions with Menka so all that goes waste".

On his long absence from TV, Karan says, “After Remix, I did not want to do same old stuff and secondly I had considered a couple of films which unfortunately did not see the light of the day. Agreed out of sight is out of mind but even now people still remember me as Ranveer of Remix”

Ask Karan about the SET reality show, Mr and Ms TV he did early last year and his face glows up .” I learned a lot. It gave me a platform to showcase my hidden mimic skills. Only thing I would advice others is that even if they black out on the dance floor, they should not show it for had I not done that, I would have surely won the crown". His jodi along with Jasweer Kaur lost out in the finale to Swapnil and Purbi Joshi.

Although he accepts that many people did not see the show as it had a very short duration(9 days), he still stands by the concept, "it was designed in such a way that you could not show it week by week. The rounds was impromptu, so you had to shoot non stop ".

Juhi Chawla now dances to Ram's tunes...

In the coming episode, all contestants of Sony's Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 3 will be seen dancing to the tunes of Amitabh Bachchan, SRK and Salman Khan.

And the best part of the episode was when Juhi danced with the tubby man Ram Kapoor on the floor. The man who is a complete riot on sets has much more in store for viewers this week!!

"Ram who claimed to have two left feet when it comes to dancing was a complete surprise as he harmonized his steps with his choreographer", says our khabroo.

He did a SRK to the hilt dressed like Suri of Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. "Ram's hard work and dedication was truly admired by the Teen Deviyaan and they were also generous in awarding him some good marks", adds the source.

He even inspired Juhi Chawla to join him on the dance floor. "They together danced on Banke tera jogi … from Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani. At the end of it, Juhi exclaimed, "Punjab Power has lit our lives!", chirps the source. If Juhi's funny one liner brought a laugh on sets, Ram who was quite excited had not yet finished and quipped, "Every time something good happens to me, I wake my wife and daughter from their sleep to share my happiness. Tonight I won't let them sleep ... I danced with Juhi Chawla!!!", concludes our khabroo.

Another mythological show on NDTV Imagine

After the success of Ramayan, Sagar Arts is all set to come up with its new periodic cum mythological drama on NDTV Imagine called Swami Narayan. The show is now in its initial stages.

Moti Sagar confirmed this, saying "We are doing a show called Swami Narayan, but things are in its nascent stages. I can''t divulge any other information".

When asked about the channel he says, "It is for one of the National GEC channels, that is what I can say. For more information you need to wait."

Our khabroo chirps that, "It will be for NDTV Imagine only. The producers had finalized this project long back, but the strike postponed it. The shoot has not yet started and they are now on the verge of finalizing the actors".

"The location will be definitely out of Mumbai, somewhere in Gujrat where the shoot of many other Sagar Arts shows have taken place", concludes the source.

Star Plus Mahaabharat scrapped?

Star Plus and Bobby Bedi''s Mahaabharat was once the talk of the tele-land, but suddenly everything has gone silent after the television strike took over last year. We wonder what the channel and the Producer are up to.

A source from the production house informs, "The show is scrapped from the channel as lots of money was needed. Alongside there was no slot for the same, hence the decision was taken".

We had already reported that the show might see dawn in April, 2009, but all looks bleak now. "The latest news is that the show has been scrapped. However, Bobby has still not left hopes and was heard telling one of his colleagues that he would never part with the hope of getting the show launched someday", adds our source.

Another insider enlightened us further, "The channel was not happy with the star cast of the show. They demanded for lots of changes. With that, they preferred to shoot in Mumbai at Film City, but the producers did not agree. Bobby wanted to give it a real look, and so he wanted it to be shot in the forests around Delhi. Things went wrong and it resulted in the closure of the project".

The star cast for the grand epic was already finalized. Nirmal Pandey as Bheeshm, Gagan Malik as Krishna, Lillete Dubey''s sister, Lushin Dubey was to portray the role of Kunti. Manoje Biddvai was also roped in to play Karan.

The shoot was taking place in the jungles of Morna, near Delhi.

It seems Bobby believes in the phrase that, ''Where there is a will, there is a way''. Let''s see what future lies in store for his Mahaabharat…

Yudhister gets kidnapped...

Star Plus Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat has an interesting week coming up with the Holi festival bringing in color, masti, drama and also suspense to the track.

The Rajya Abhishek (coronation) track has been on for a while now, and there has been a tight contest so far between Rudr (Amit Dua) and Yudhister (Kapil Nirmal). However, this track will end soon with the worthy one being coronated.

But there is a major twist coming during the Holi sequence where the buzz is that Yudhister will get kidnapped.This is a big development in the story as when the Rajya Abhishek is to happen, Yudhi is kidnapped amidst all the Holi activities. This leads to too much of tension as Raja Saab gets unwell.

However, the story will unfold further when Choti Rani and Nandini's plans come to the fore.Not much details is divulged as of now, but it is that Yudhister has been caught in the trap set by both Choti Rani and Nandini. Things will be more clear when Choti Rani gets to know the ulterior motive on Nandini.

If sources are to be believed, all will get fine and eventually viewers will be seeing the Coronation of Yudhister very soon!!

Asif Sheikh enters the Star One show as Dr. Armaan's flirtatious dad...

Star One's Dill Mill Gayye is going in for another twist with a new entry. Veteran film and television actor Asif Sheikh who was last seen in SAB TV's Yes Boss has joined Dill Mill Gayye as Dr. Armaan's dad.

"He is in the show to help him in his quest to win over Riddhima. He is the uninvited dad who will make things worse for Armaan as he is the flirtatious Casanova kind of a guy who checks in every woman who comes his way. He is a young and flashy guy and people will get a dose of comedy as he enters Dill Mill Gayye", quips our source.

According to the track, "Asif Sheikh who is a lenient and friendly dad to Dr Armaan comes to know about Riddhima and quizzes Dr Armaan about it. On the other hand Dr Shasank who by now has already approved the relationship wants to meet Asif to know more about Dr Armaan's family, but eventually he will realize that if this is the kind of family he wants his daughter to go, then he should really think twice".

First elimination in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 3..

An exclusive sneak peak on the first elimination on the show…

Sony's Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 3 has just taken off, but the show will see its first elimination today. Well oh well, the result turned out to be a complete shocker as one of the promising contestant, Bhagyashree along with her talented choreographer Toby was ousted today.

Ms. Tantrum queen will be eliminated in today's episode. Shilpa Shukla was there with her in the bottom two.

In the episode, the judges cast their votes to decide the elimination. The bottom two again performed on the same songs. Saroj Khan said that Bhagyashree was better today and my vote goes to her, while Vaibhavi rooted for Shilpa", quips the source.

Now poor Juhi was left in confusion of what to do. "At last she chose Shilpa but got emotional and cried on the eviction of Bhagyashree. The actress took her elimination sportingly and said that 'Shilpa deserved to stay back'".

The short stay of Bhagyashree in the Jhalak house was not that eventful.In the first episode, the actress with her partner Tobby confused the judges as well as janta. The message that the duo tried to give was not so clear and even judges agreed with that.

In the second episode she did fairly well, but could not win the heart of judges as well as the audience. She performed on Sridevi's sensuous number from Mr. India 'I Love you'. Everything was fine but our choreographers cum judges could not find the spark in her dance as well as the chemistry was somewhere missing.

Hiten Tejwani enters Kitni Mohabbat Hai..

Its good news to all Hiten Tejwani fans that he will be soon seen in yet another Balaji serial “Kitni Mohabbat Hai”. After Kyunki he was busy doing cameos with his last cameo being with Gauri Pradhan-Tejwani in KumKum”.

But not much detail about the role is divulged only information is that the role is very important in the context of the story. There is still time for his entry.

The serial is about Aspiring singer Aarohi (Kritika) falls in love with a man, whose ideologies are completely different from hers.

Hiten came into limelight and became heartthrob of many girls with popular show Kutumb where he played the character of an egoistic young guy Pratham Mittal. Latter he also earned a lot of accolades for the matured character of Karan Virani, the actor played in Kyunki saas bhi kabhi bahu thi.

Saat Phere v/s Bidaai

Zee TV is re-shuffling and introducing new programs to catch up with the GRP’s of its competitive channels. Where its show Kasamh se is soon going off air, the channel is now banking on its long running show Saat Phere. Zee has changed the time slot of Saat Phere from 9.30 pm to 9.00 pm and bought it in competition with Star Plus’s number one show Bidaai.

“Yes it is true. Saat Phere is the face of Zee TV. Even after so many years the show is going strong and I am sure that it would give a tough competition to Bidaai,” confirms Sampurn Anand, story writer of Saat Phere. Well the writer’s confidence in the show must be due to its constantly rising TRP which the show banked on a generation leap.

Balika Vadhu is no.1 with record breaking TRP’s

Sphere Origins Balika Vadhu has created the history. It’s been a long time since any soap reached the magical 10 plus TRP. But the story track of Pratap’s death in the show has recorded a mind-boggling TRP of 10 for Balika Vadhu. This has not only earned a no.1 spot for the show but it has also helped the channel Colours to reach closer in becoming the no.1 entertainment channel. In the latest TAM ratings Star Plus still heads the chart with 305 GRPs while Colors is just one GRP behind. “There are certain high points in the story which is disclosed slowly. Our show’s TRP was always growing slow and steady. Once that’s happening, such a growth is expected,” speaks producer Sunjoy Waddhwa. But at the same time the producer doesn’t want to take it easy, “We need to ensure that we now live up to these standards.”

Well, we too wish that this wonderful and refreshing show continues to entertain the viewers for a long time to come.

NDTV Imagine's Ramayan will showcase the most moving part of this epic in its entire poetic and sentimental splendor with Sita’s second exile and the birth of Luv & Kush.

The Sagar Arts epic, Ramayan on NDTV Imagine has brought a new trend on television, and after doing extremely well in this one year, there begins a new chapter now, with the entry of Luv and Kush!!.

A new chapter of Luv and Kush will be starting soon on NDTV Imagine. The first episode of that will go on air from March 9, i.e. coming Monday.

The story goes as follows with Sita returning to Ayodhya was just not the end of her 'Agnipriksha', as Ram is in a dilemma as he overhears unpleasant remarks made by a common man about Sita. Sita realizes that Shri Ram is torn between his respect and love for her and his moral duty as a King. Sita volunteers to leave the kingdom and take refuge in Rishi Valmiki's ashram. Here she gives birth to Luv and Kush and devotes herself completely to the upbringing of her children.

The star cast remains the same. The only difference will be that now Gurmeet Chowdhury and Debina Bonnerjee will be joined by Rishabh Sharma and Perin Monish Malde who will be essaying the role of Luv and Kush respectively.

The role of Lakshman is played by Ankit Arora, Bharat by Vije Bhatia, Shatrughan by Lalit Negi , Hanuman by Vikram Sharma and Rishi Valmiki by Raman Khatri .

Dulhann to stay on; Kasamh Se to go off air....

Well, the verdict has changed now!! And in place of Dulhann, it will be Kasamh Se bidding farewell next week. Also, Saath Phere gets a time slot change..

Well, we can now say that Zee TV has rewritten history as they have reconsidered the decision of closing Shakuntalam Telefilms' Banoo Main Teri Dulhann, and have now decided to wind up another prime time show in place of Dulhann.

So the cast and crew of Dulhann can get a smile back on their faces, as they stay on to fight the TRP race. According to our reliable source, "This decision to reconsider the axing of Dulhann was taken yesterday, and the channel heads met again today to take their final call on the show that will now be taken off".

Well, the verdict has come out that Balaji Telefilms' long-running show Kasamh Se will be the one to kick the bucket next week.

According to our reliable source, "Dulhann will now continue to air at the existing time slot of 8 PM. Kasamh Se which is now aired at 9 PM will now be going off air on March 13th. Saath Phere, produced by Sphere Origins will see a time slot change, and will be moved to the 9PM slot in place of Kasamh Se. This will pave way for the new Swastik Pictures show, Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Ki Jo to take the 9.30 PM slot from March 16th".

However, our source confirms that the decision of the channel is now final and Kasamh Se will go off air, Saath Phere will continue with a time slot change while the luckiest of all will be Dulhann which will go on to fight another battle!!

For the uninitiated, it was just two days back when the entire unit of Dulhann was informed by the channel of their show winding up. Even Shyamashis Bhattacharya had sent us a text message then, confirming that Dulhann is going off air. But now, tables have turned, and this is the fact!!

Well, for all the 'Tu Tu Main Main' that has taken place to arrive at this decision, we can only say, 'This happens only in GEC's'….

Chehra now at 10.30

Yash Patnaik's Chehra will now launch at the 10.30 PM slot on March 16th, while Hats Off's new show will take the 7.30 PM slot on Star Plus from March 16th..

Star Plus has its task cut out, as it is now less than 1 GRP that separates the top 2 channels, Star Plus and COLORS in GEC!!

As the battle for supremacy goes on, Star Plus is planning many new launches in the month of March, and is aiming to place the best of shows at the right time slot.

Now the latest on their new launches is that Chehra, produced by Beyond Dreams which was earlier to be aired from Monday to Friday at the 7.30 pm slot has been shifted to a new time of 10.30 PM. And occupying the 7.30 PM slot will be Hats Off Productions new show Bure Bhi Hum Bhale Bhi Hum.

The channel felt that Chehra, a romantic story with thriller elements will do well at the prime time slot of 10.30 PM rather than an early evening slot of 7.30 PM.

We called up Producer of Chehra, Yash Patnaik who confirmed this, "Chehra will now launch on 16th March at the 10.30 pm slot. I am extremely happy with the time slot the channel has given us. In fact, we are gearing up for the launch and the challenge after that".

J.D. Majethia's new family drama, Bure Bhi Hum Bhale Bhi Hum will now take up the 7.30 PM slot from March 16th, Monday-Friday. When we asked JD about the 7.30 PM slot given to his show, he said, "You are the first one to inform me that my new show on Star Plus will be aired at the 7.30 pm slot. But whatever it is, we are the product makers and the entire decision lies with the channel, and I will be glad to take up any slot they give me".

Lastly, as we mentioned earlier, our sources confirm that Aap Ki Kachehri which is now aired at the 10.30 PM slot will be going on a seasonal break in the second week of March, thus leaving the spot open for Chehra.

Well, are you ready to be part of the 'Royal Battle' between channels to gain supremacy??

Tuj Sang shifted to afternoon slot

Star Plus' Tuj Sang will now be moved to the afternoon slot replacing Kumkum at the 1 PM slot from March 16th.After so many speculations on Star Plus' Tuj Sang Preet Lagayi Sajna going off air, it is reported that the show will now be shifted to the afternoon slot of 1 PM. And as reported earlier, Mere Ghar Aayi Laadli will be taking the 10:00 pm slot from March 16th.

The reason for this change is that the TRPs are not really showing a good sign, so the creative team decided that it was better to take an afternoon slot rather than an early evening slot.

Earlier, we had reported that Tuj Sang was served two warnings by the channel to deliver better numbers, and this move indeed looks like the last chance the Balaji Telefilms' show is getting!

We tried getting a confirmation from the channel, but we could not get any response..

So for fans of the show, guess this is still a good news as the show is at least on air!! What say?

Banoo main teri Dulhaan is bidding adieu

Zee TV's prime time show,Banoo Main Teri Dulhaan,will reportedly go off air from March 13.The reason for this is its falling TRPs which are currently at 2.5 points. This show will be replaced by another soap,Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo. The decision to take off this show was taken overnight before the TRPs dipped even more.The cast and the producers have reportedly been informed about the decission.

Star Plus's new show Chehra

Beyond Dreams' love story cum drama thriller, Chehra is all set to go on air on March 9th, Monday to Friday at the 7.30 pm slot on Star Plus.

Santaan which is presently aired at the 7.30 pm slot will now be shifted to 7 PM as Sangam will go off air from March 6th. However, Santaan will also be going off air on March 20th.

Coming back to the 7.30 pm slot which is usually reserved for the bahu-beti centric tear jerkers, Producer Yash Patnaik is confident that the lead girl of Chehra who is strong, confident and level-headed will be able to take on the competition. During his break, Mayank was busy completing the story for his book. He has finished writing his book. Though he did not reveal much about the content of the book as of now,but says that the story focuses on the other woman in the life of a man and he is now searching for a good publisher for it.

Alongside, he was working on his painting too. So overall, this break has done good and he utilized it to the fullest. The reason he decided to opt out of the show was to give himself some time. Now that things were done, he is back to work.

Karan Hukku all set to enter Zee's Betiyaan..

Karan Hukku is back!! The dashing actor who was earlier seen in Kahe Naa Kahe and Radha Ki Betiyaan Kuch Kar Dikhayengi will now be entering Creative Eye's long-running show on Zee TV, Betiyaan.

Karan Hukku plays the rich businessman, Nikhil who is basically an arrogant brat. His character will be similar to what Jay Walia was, when Kasamh Se began. Nikhil will come face to face with Jhumki aka Soni Singh who is a self-righteous girl. The manner in which she transforms him will be the story ahead. Later on, she falls in love with him, but there will be a twist here.There will enter the brother of Nikhil who will complicate their love story. It's to be seen what future has in store for Jhumki who has been rejected by many because of her bad past. However, this time around she will get married to one of the brothers, but it remains to be seen how the story unfolds.

While Karan Hukku will enter the show on March 2nd, the other character will enter around the end of March.

Jhumki who happens to be the real daughter of the Garodia family lived the life of a prostitute, before she could unite with her real family. It was recently seen that Siddharth (Yash Pandit), the man who loved Jhumki refused to marry her when he got to know of her past.

Star Plus's Tujh sang preet lagayi sajna may get off air or....??

Star Plus is all set to offer a new show titled "Mere Ghar Aayi Laadli" to come on air in March which is produced by Endemol show features Kanwalieet Singh and a fresh new face Shivshakti as lead, and the buzz is that the new show is to take the slot of 10 PM.

The Endemol show is going on air from 16 March at 10 pm time slot. It's a daily and will take the slot of Balaji Telefilms's Tujh Sang Preet Lagayi Sajna which is presently shown at the same slot.

So does that mean Tuj Sang is going off air? As per the information either the show will go off or the time slot will be changed.

It was already reported that the Balaji show had been given two warnings by the channel due to its dipping TRPs. Even after all this, the creative team is trying their level best to deliver and cope up with the pressure.

Alongside, the news is that another show on Star Plus, Aap Ki Kachehri will be going on a seasonal break very soon.The season will end around mid March. The dates have not been finalized, but it could be around 20th. So there are bright chances of Tuj Sang taking that time slot.

As of now, there are too many questions lingering. It is to be watched whether Tuj Sang.. indeed gets a time slot change or will be forced to pull down its curtains!!

Siddhanth Cinevision takes over Meet Mila De Rabba

The Sony television's prime time show "Meet Mila De Rabba" which was produced by Silver Circle Film Company has now been taken over by Siddhanth Cinevision.


The show started off on a good note, but there were many issues between the channel and the production house. The production house could not deliver few episodes on time, because of which old episodes had to be repeated. Moreover, the dropping TRP was also a concern.

Siddhant Cinevision, headed by Manish Goswami has been offering shows on television since long time and have many successfully shows to their credit.Their recent projects include Kitty Party, Aisa Desh Hai Mera, Kittu Sab Jaanti Hai and many more. Currently they are producing Dehleez for NDTV Imagine.

Let's see how the show shapes up with the new production house coming in!!

Santaan is going off air....

Star Plus is lining up new shows like other channels, this means it's time to say good bye to many long-running shows of the channel to give way to new concepts.After "Sangam" now comes the turn of another long-running show "Santan" to wind up on Star Plus.


The show has had its good run, and was the slot's highest TRP getter for nearly a year or so.Like all good things need to come to a logical end and Santaan will also see a typical happy ending.

The show will go off air in the last week of March.

Zee TV's new prime time show.

Swastik Pictures' new show on Zee TV, which was earlier titled 'Gauna' has now got its final title, which will be 'Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Ki Jo'.

Ratan Rajput who was last seen playing the ambitious girl Ruchi in NDTV Imagine's Radha Ki Betiyaan Kuchh Kar Dikhayengi will play the protagonist of this show.

Ratan has no problems with the Bihari accent in the show, as she hails from Bihar.

The story of this new show is about a 16 year old highly spirited girl who has a positive outlook to life, and fights against all odds. The girl hails from a typical rural family of Bihar wherein the father has to depend on his daily wages to feed his four kids. When the father is not able to perform her 'Gauna' (send his wedded daughter to her sasuraal) due to monetary problems, he is forced to sell her off to a rich Bihari Thakur family. There begins the trials of the girl who has to overcome her problems with a positive mindset.

The show will be launched in March and will be a daily at a prime time slot.

COLORS is now all set for another two shows with contracting concepts.One is based on the issue of female infanticide produced by Shakuntalam Telefilms named "Na Aana Is Des Laado" while another show "Mere Ghar Aayi Ek Nanhi Pari" is about a family wanting a girl child.Both are about the girl child but each one looks at the girl child from a different perspective.

The less than year old channel has decided to end its prime time show 'Mohe Rang De' because the story is nearing an end despite the show getting good response and will be replaced by "Na Aana Is Des Laado".

Cast of "Mere Ghar Aayi Ek Nanhi Pari" include Kulbhushan Kharbanda as Ramlal and other actors in the show are Karan Wahi, Vivek Madan, Pankaj Beri, Atul Srivastava, Vaishnavi and Yamini Singh.

Cast of "Na Aana Is Des Laado" show will see many new fresh and promising faces which are chosen after taking auditions all over.

Bhootwala Serial-new serial on SAB TV

Bhootwala serial as the name suggests is the India's First ever horror-comedy show which is going to be aired on SAB TV from 28th February. Back in October 2008, we had a news on a new weekly sitcom tentatively titled as ‘Bhoot bhi kabhi rishtedar tha’ that was to make its way on SAB. After that there have been a few changes.That show is now named "Bhootwala Serial" and it will be a daily.The show will air on currently-vacant 10-10.30 pm time slot. This show is produced by Edit 2 productions.

The ghosts played by Kiku Sharda, Anup Upadhaya, Melissa Pai and Manju Brijnandan Sharma portray a retro 'sixties look' while Rajesh Kumar, Dhruv Singh and Shital Maulik represent a more modern look as the humans in the show.

Ek Safar Aisa...Kabhi Socha Na Tha - new show on Sony TV

Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Naa after going through a series of downs finally went off air on February 5th 2009.

Ek Safar Aisa...Kabhi Socha Na Tha is the new show which replaced Babul Ka Angann Chootey Naa.

Kabhi Socha Na Tha which was earlier titled Suhaagan is produced by Rashmi Sharma, the maker of Raja Ki Aayegi Baarat on Star Plus.



Kabhi Socha Na Tha is a story of a young girl who finds a floating unconscious body of a man and sets out on a journey in search of his identity. The feeling of treading the unknown is what the essence of the story is.The show is full of thrill and intrigue and many questions unanswered. Whether the vulnerable protagonist Ganga is able to meet the end of her search forms the crux of the story.

The lead role will be played by Maninder and Jayshree. Other cast in the show includes prominent names from the TV industry,they are Pankaj Dheer, Neelu Kohli ,Rinku Ghosh, Kuldeep Malik and Madhvi Gokhte.

Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 3

Sony Entertainment Television (SET) has renewed its contract with BBC Worldwide Productions India to produce the third and fourth seasons of the celebrity dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.

Season 3 of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa will start in the last week of February. Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Juhi Chawla and Saroj Khan will be judging the contestants this time.It will be interesting to see Juhi Chawla as a judge of this reality show.Shiv Pandit and Shweta Tiwari are the hosts for this season of the dance reality show.

NDTV Imagine's upcoming shows

NDTV Imagine is all set for a revamp with two new shows in the prime time slot.

Adding to the tally of new shows is Siddhant Cinevision’s upcoming show on Imagine, which is tentatively titled ‘Dehleez’. This is the production house that has given the audience many good shows earlier such as Kitty Party, Kittu Sab Jaanti Hai etc.

The show will see the likes of Rakesh Pandey and Sunil who have been very prominent Marathi stage actors. The story is about a family with three sons and their bahus.The story is about a working woman and the difficulties she faces after marriage while managing her personal and professional life.

Sunil will play the eldest son of the house, while Preeti Sahay who was seen essaying the role of Trishna Chachi in Balika Vadhu will play the eldest bahu of the house. Nishant Shaukeen who played the village lad in Sony’s Durgesh Nandini will play the second son, and playing his wife is the ‘Yeh Hai Jalwa’ find Bhavna Roy, who was also seen in a negative role in Waaris.

Rakesh Pandey and Maya will play parents to the three brothers. The male lead who will be the youngest son of the house is the lead of 9X’ Dahhej, Bhuvnesh Mann who is essaying the role. A fresh face to television, Preeti Bindwani plays his wife and will be the youngest daughter-in-law of the house.

The show will be launched on 16 January at 9.00 pm time slot, by replacing Radha ki betiyaan kuch kar dikhayegi... DJ's productions show which used air on NDTV imagine.

Another NDTV imagine's prime show "Mein teri Parchhain Hoon" is going off air which will be replaced by another show from Sphere Origins production house.After the success of Balika Vadhu aired on Colors channel, expectation are very high with their upcoming show title "Jyoti".


The story about a middle class girl Jyoti who is the man of the house. Her family likes her because she is earning and gets money for their bread and butter. The day Jyoti realizes this, she takes a drastic step.
